International Students Family Gathering

International students from Nigeria, Liberia, Cameroon at HCU gathering

International students from Nigeria, Liberia, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Togo, and Uganda gathered for a lively get-together organized by the International Students’ Association (ISA).

The gathering aimed to build unity, celebrate cultural diversity, and create a space for networking and friendship. It featured an inspirational talk on resilience and collaboration, a symbolic toast, diverse African and continental meals, and open networking.

Support from the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) and the Students Support Office (SSAS) was key, providing both funding and logistics. Their involvement highlighted the university’s commitment to its international community.

“This get-together was more than fun, it was a celebration of who we are,” said ISA President Miss Folukemi Grace Iyiola. “We’re grateful to everyone who made it possible.”

The evening served as a reminder of how diversity strengthens community. With strong support and a clear vision, the ISA is set to keep building bridges across cultures at Heritage Christian University.
