Overview
The Master of Arts in Corporate Governance and Leadership (MACGL) at Heritage Christian University is a one-year programme designed to equip middle and senior-level professionals with advanced knowledge and skills in corporate governance, ethical leadership, and strategic management. Through a blended learning approach, it fosters integrity, transparency, and accountability, preparing graduates for top-level roles in public and private organizations.

Learning Outcomes:
The programme duration is one year (full-time), comprising two semesters with a workload of a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 21 credit hours per week. Lectures are scheduled for weekends and evenings to accommodate working students.
Who can Apply?:
Applicants must have first degree or its equivalent in any field, with at least a second class lower from a recognized university. A third-class degree with relevant work experience will also be considered after the interview. Professional qualifications such as CIHRM, ACCA, ICA (Gh), CIMA, CIM, ICSA, or CIAMC is also considered.

What is the Cost?:
Tuition for nationals for the 2025 academic year is GH₵ 20,150.00. Tuition for international students is US$ 6,000 (international Heritage alumni receive a US$ 2,000 discount). 50% of the payment is due upon admission, 25% due at the end of the first four courses, 25% due at the end of eight courses. Whilst the payment terms are set by the school, consideration is also given for individual payment plans considering its favourable to the school. General scholarships are not available.
Is the Programme Online?:
Students will be required to be in-person, on campus at least one Saturday for every module. A module is taught over 3 weeks/weekends in a month. Other meetings are offered in a hybrid format that allows students to be present on campus or online. The fourth weekend is an exam weekend. Note: the last module requires in-person attendance for the last weekend.
