Welcome to the Department of Midwifery at Heritage Christian University (HCU), renowned for its unique approach to education that nurtures students academically and prepares them for the international market. Our holistic model fosters intellectual, moral, and emotional growth, equipping students with essential skills and values. HCU excels in promoting Nursing and Midwifery education and develops competent, practical, and research-oriented professionals. Linked with institutions such as HCC-USA Foundation and several foreign universities(Abilene Christian University, Harding University, Lipscomb University ) for knowledge sharing among faculty, HCU offers a collaborative and well-structured environment for teaching and learning. We are open to individuals interested in pursuing Nursing and Midwifery at the bachelor’s level.

Bachelor of Science

Upon completion of the programme, students will be awarded

Bachelor of Science in Midwifery

Duration

The programme takes four years with eight semesters to complete and requires 120 credit hours.

Graduation Requirements

A student is required to enrol and pass all the University required and core courses of the programme before graduation. Additionally, he/she is expected to abide by the regulations and policies of HCU.
