“This role is more than just a title; it’s a sacred commitment,” he declared. “We’re not here to merely occupy office chairs; we’re here to sit alongside you, listen to your concerns, and work together to create a vibrant student life.”

He pledged to pursue tangible change, amplify student voices, and uphold the university’s values of compassion, creativity, and character.

“This is our administration, not just the SRC’s. It’s ours to shape, ours to mold, and ours to own,” he said, adding, “Together, we’ll plan events that empower and uplift, advocate for policies that enhance student well-being, and uphold the values that define us.”

The president ended with a rousing call to action: “Let us rise, let us unite, and let us embark on this extraordinary journey together!”

Looking Ahead: Expectations and Hope

The university community holds high expectations for the new SRC administration. Many students interviewed expressed optimism that the leadership would foster a more inclusive, responsive, and dynamic environment.

The Dean of Students, Prof. Ebenezer Ayesu, congratulated the new team and advised them to stay rooted in their commitment to help transform Heritage student body and be servant leaders.
