The Heritage Nursing and Midwifery Association (HeNMA) marked its Launch Week under the theme “Empowering Future Caregivers, One Step at a Time.” The week-long celebration featured a series of purposeful and engaging activities that reflected the values of nursing, compassion, unity, culture, and service.

The program opened with a formal ceremony that included a keynote address and the official launch.

A health and wellness session followed, offering free health screenings and practical advice on self-care for future caregivers.

Career Development Opportunities, Movie Night, Games and Excursion

Students explored career opportunities beyond traditional nursing roles during a career-focused session and later relaxed with a Movie Night.

Scrubs Wear activities brought colour and energy, with fun Gen Z-themed indoor games that fostered bonding and laughter among participants.
An excursion took students beyond the classroom to release some.

Cultural Gala Night

A highlight of the week was a Cultural Gala Night themed “Retro Vibes,” featuring vintage fashion, dance-offs, and karaoke.
The celebration concluded with a donation visit to an orphanage where students shared gifts, time, and care with the children. The Launch Week not only marked the beginning of HeNMA but also celebrated the enduring spirit and purpose of the nursing profession.
