The Master of Science in Cyber Security: The degree is intended to equip students with appropriate knowledge and skills that will enable them to perform efficiently in the cyber security profession.
Master of Science in Cyber Security
Programme Aim:
The degree is intended to equip students with appropriate knowledge and skills that will enable them to perform efficiently in the cyber security profession.
Duration:
This is a full-time programme for one year. The degree can also be taken part-time over two years.
Eligibility:
Applicants can be admitted based on the following criteria:
The course is for a candidate who has gone through a recognized accredited university, having achieved at least a Second-Class pass degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems or related field. Additionally, applicants with third-class would be considered if they provide evidence of three years of post- qualification relevant work experience and successfully pass an entrance interview.

What is the Cost?:
Tuition for nationals for the 2025 academic year is GH₵ 20,000.00. Tuition for international students is US$ 6,000 (international Heritage alumni receive a US$ 2000 discount). 50% of the payment is due upon admission, 25% due at the end of the first four courses, 25% due at the end of eight courses. General scholarships are not available.
Programme Format: Hybrid Format:
Students will be required to be in-person on campus at least one Saturday for every module. A module is taught over 3 weeks/weekends in a month. Other meetings are offered in a hybrid format that allows students to be present on campus or online. The fourth weekend is an exam weekend. Note: the first module requires in-person attendance for the first two weekends.
