Programme Options

Duration

The programme takes four years with eight semesters to complete and requires 120 credit hours.

Graduation Requirements

A student is required to enrol and pass all the University required and core courses of the programme before graduation. Additionally, he/she is expected to abide by the regulations and policies of HCU.

An applicant into the programme must have a good first degree or its equivalent in the field of Accounting and or Taxation or a related area such as Risk Management, insurance, Actuarial Science, Accounting, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, and Engineering from an accredited institution. Preference will be given to applicants with a First Class, or a Second Class (Upper or Lower) division. An applicant with professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, CIMA, ICA, ACCA, and ACIB, shall have their certificate assessed and its degree equivalent determined before admission.
